Melting Moments Biscuits

Melting Moments

2½ oz Lard
1½ oz Margarine
5 oz S/R Flour
3 oz Castor Sugar
Small Egg
Vanilla essence
Porridge oats

Cream fats and sugar until light and fluffy,
beat in the egg and add a few drops of vanilla essence then add the flour and give it a good mix
roll into small balls (golf ball size) and coat with porridge oats

Bake on a greased, floured baking tray press out slightly with your hand and allow room to spread

Cook at 190c Gas mark 5 for 15 to 20 mins
