Convert 8mm Cine Film to DVD

When i was little my dad was always out and about with his cine 8mm video camera so have been thinking of having them converted to DVD but after having a look at the cost which would be about £50 for each film so would run into a few grand i'm thinking of trying to do it myself

i know i'm not going to get the same quality as if i sent them off but the cost is a bit to much

So after having a read on the web some sites are saying you can do a good job just by projecting the film onto a screen then with a digital video camera re-recoding the film so wondered anyone tried doing this before i start

Well below is a few of the ones i've got to do when i get started sometime this week

Convert 8mm Cine Film to DVD

Princess Royal Class Locomotive

This scale model was my dads labor of love for about 4 or 5 years it took to make which is a Princess Royal Class Locomotive

he spent most of his free time down the shed making her with only taking breaks for a cup of tea and the odd cig

she was fired up once to make sure everything ran ok which did but now she takes pride of place in the house
