Neil Warnock new palace manager
Going to eat my hat as after we were in the bottom 3 of the league we are in the top half now at 9 and with the way things are going a play of place is in the bag
So well done Warnock keep up the good work and that must have been one good kick up the arse you gave the players when you took over

Looks like theres a Top Gear special on over christmas 5 3/4 hours of shows from the gang Jeremy Clarkson,Richard Hammond and James May so thank good theres something worth watching this christmas well sunday at 4:15 there is :)
Looks like where going to get Jeremy Clarksons episode of Have I Got News for You which went out earlier in the year and a show where James May does a comedy study of one man's struggle for masculinity in an all-female world. Stuck between two sisters, James May's only toys were their hand-me-downs, but now his time for revenge has arrived.
Plus Richard Hammond meets the late Evil Knievel who died this year so fingers crossed the rest is as good
Ps i think the Stigs in there somewhere with an episode of Top Gear :)
After my Plextor died and having to wait for a RMA i decided to buy a new burner so now have the Asus DRW 1814BL which i got today
Only problem i've had is that i have n Antec P160 case which has drive covers ie flaps that hide the drive but when in place the flaps get in the way of the drive opening and closing so had to remove which is a shame but other than that all is working as it should
Reason i got the Asus DRW 1814BL is that it can burn DVD+r as Roms so the burned DVDs will play on any DVD player young or old without problem
also another great thing about this drive is that if you feed with quality blanks like Verbatim you can burn 16x speed disc's at 18x which will save a few min's
Only strange thing is when i got the drive which had firmware 1.10 it burned verbatim 16x DVD+R at 18x but when i updated the firmware to 1.13 it burned at there quoted speed of 16x other than that i'm very happy with the drive as burned a few dvd's today DVD+R as roms (booktype) which this drive can do and they played back without problems on a 10 year old toshiba and my new one
Ps if you want to burn blank DVD's as roms with this drive all you have to do is use software like nero and only use DVD+r and it will be done automatically for you without having to play with any settings
Update as theres a new firmware out
Latest Firmware version 1.14
Improve burning quality
Latest Firmware version 1.13
Add 12X write for DVD-RAM in CD-Speed testing
Improve DVD-RAM write and read capability.

A shooter for the N64 which i think was the first 3D type for the N64 (could be wrong) well it turned up on the Wii Vc the other week so as it was one of the games which i had for my N64 i had to download to walk down memory lane :)
have to say it's aged well as all good games do and i'm still enjoying it now with it's good game play only problem i forgot was that theres no level save so you have to do the game in one sitting which is a bit of a pain
But if you want some shooting fun with some big boss's and good level design which will have you playing for hours it's worth the money
Been playing this game on the Wii for a while now and have to say it's bloody hard but fun
For some strange reason i never got round to getting a Nintendo GameCube but lucky for me i have a Wii to play all them great Gamecube game which i missed out on.
I had the first game 1080 Snowboarding on the N64 which i loved and i'm still waiting for it to turn up on the Wii Vc one day, so sit back and watch one of my runs from this great game which you can pickup for about a £5 now
1080 Avalanche final expert level
Saturday, 15 December 2007
Got this the same time as i got 1080 Avalanche but not really played as much.
Like 1080 Avalanche i got this game after playing Wave Race on the N64 many years ago so as it was so cheap i had to get for the Wii, so it you want the best in water sports this game has to be the beat jet ski game on any platform with it's super smooth graphics and great game play
PS you can now get Wave race the N64 version on the Wii Wc for about £7 which is a bargain
Two of my favorite electro instrumentals from way back in the 80's a time when music was a true culture not just crap being put out for the money
You lived electro and many a kitchen was without lino so the B boy could lay down some moves
Track one Destination Earth from Newcleus: Jam on Revenge(1983)
Track two Cyborg Dance from Newcleus: Space Is The Place (1985)

Neil Warnock new palace manager
I wouldn't say Neil Warnock is my cup of tea as a manager as he does seem a bit mad in interviews and when the news that he is now the Crystal Palace manager i wasn't happy, but the problem is there ain't many managers out there which are any good so think hes the best of a bad bunch just a shame Peter Taylor never gave us palace fans the glory where after
So good luck Peter Taylor in the future and fingers crossed Neil Warnock brings us a little bit of hope :)

Put the pedal down as Codemasters Race Driver Create & Race is on the grid, got this game today as after playing Mario Kart for about a year now i wanted something different and after trying a few other so called real driving games for the Ds-Lite i parted with my money with codemasters as played a few of there other driving games over the years
So what does this game give you well most of the well known tracks are there from Silverstone to Nϋrburgring with about 32 tracks from around the world in total and 25 licensed cars
Also if you fancy a race with a mate or someone around the world you can with the wifi connection which is a great addition
As for the game it's self the graphics are smooth if a little blocky but well detailed and all the cars handle differently so your going to have to learn the difference between them
Well if you have some spare cash and want a driving game for your Ds-Lite you want be disappointed

Just got PGA Tour 08 for the Ds-Lite and after trying the 07 version last year i’m now a happy golfer as the 07 version was just crap as for some reason they left out the game play and the fun element but thank god with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 everything is there from game play and good graphics for the little DS
This game so reminds me of the first time that i played the first golf game on the Megadrive before it got the Tiger Woods tag
It was just so much fun on your own or with friends so what also makes the new version stand out is the inclusion of wifi play with others from around the world or just across two Ds-Lites with one person sharing
Only thing i find which is a bit of a letdown or maybe i’m just crap at putting as it can be a bit tricky to get that short putt in when needed but other than that a great game

Been a long time but a new update for nebula TV card is coming which takes it up to version 4
From Nebula site
Its been a bit quiet over the past couple of months .... and here's why ......
DigiTV Version 4 has been on the cards for a couple of years now. Its always been our intention that DigiTV should evolve to be a complete home media entertainment solution, and Version 4 takes a large step further towards that goal.
Version 4 has a completely redesigned interface that has been engineered to make the most of the capabilities of modern graphics cards. A unique blend of GDI, GDI+ and DirectX3D technology has been created to move the user experience on to a completely new level. Menu transitions are animated and mirrored surface/lighting effects have been added to give a subtle but renewed high-end feel to the whole interface. It's also a whole lot quicker!
Many new features have been added, including some that have been conspicuous by their absence from previous versions.
Well for a while i've been having problems with some web sites crashing IE7 under XP only for the error report telling me the problem is down to Nod32
so after a bit of investigation i could only put it down to sites which are running high flash content, so the way i got round the problem was to uninstall Flash and install a beta version which looks like has sorted the problem "fingers crossed"
Well a bit of an update as i was still having the odd windows ie7 crash i think the problem is more to do with a skype plugin
So if your having the same problem try this go into Control Panel / Internet Options / Programs Tab / manage Add-ons /
And find the two skype plugins and disable both which fingers crossed will fix the problem
